Adobe DTM Single Page Rules - Chrome Browser Extension

A Google Chrome browser extension that fixes a number of user interface issues with Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager

Adobe DTM users, for years now have had to put up with a fairly clunky UI. Navigating potentially dozens of pages (because nobody is really certain whether we can remove that marketing pixel from 2013), with the unhelpful addition of names being cut off at 25 characters, means locating any one individual rule or data element can be a frustrating experience.

With the advent of their next generation tag management system Adobe Launch, Adobe now have plans to sunset DTM by the end of 2020. This means there's close to zero hope of any 'nice to have' fixes, so this behaviour isn't going away.

Although you really should be migrating to Launch, there may be reasons you have to stick with DTM. To make the experience a little less painful, I've developed a Google Chrome browser extension, which you can find at this link.

The extension detects on page load whether any further pages exist, and if so fetches the rest of your rules or data elements, appending them at the bottom of the list.

Also notice now that rules names are allowed to flow onto a second row, removing the annoying clipping behaviour. CTRL-F to your hearts content!
